TASK 5. CONCLUSION


The Translation method has been used for generation to generation, sometimes in a very active way and others in a very passive one. No matter that some scholars said is not a good tool for the process of learning-teaching English, we still do it. It is a natural process for us for understand better a language that it is not our mother tongue and believe it or not to keep improving in our learning process. 


As future teachers, it is very important to consider and analyses the different translation techniques because they can open the possibility to take the most advantage of this tool in the process of learning, teaching or just when we need to understand any kind of content in another language. We can incorporate specific translation exercises into our lessons so that students can improve their reading skills, using the most appropriate translation techniques for them and that we have seen in this unit.


  It is necessary to include well oriented translation exercise in our classes in order to develop a greater comprehension of a second language. When we use the translation as a tool of learning, we acquire more vocabulary, which is essential to express ourselves in another language. In addition we increase the understanding of texts, magazines, newspapers, etc.
